Ricky's NYC Haul: L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints

I have been wanting to get my hands on the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint for the longest time! I've heard many amazing things about it but I just didn't know where I can buy it. Due to unfortunate series of events yesterday (or shall I say fortunate? :-) ), I stumbled into a Ricky's NYC store and spotted a bunch of the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints! I was so excited, of course I HAD to get some!

They had a lot of color options but I decided to stick to similar shades. I picked up the shades Elude, Flirt and Peony. Elude is a muted pink shade, Flirt is bumble gum pink with a slight hint of coral. Peony is a rosy pink with a coral tone. I think that the packaging of L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint is cute. It comes in a squeeze tube and I appreciate that the cap has a flat top (which makes it easier to display on the vanity).

Application is easy but you need to use a light hand or else, you'll be squeezing out a clump of gloss. While I do agree that these lip paints are high in pigmentation, I am not the biggest fan of the formula. I noticed that it emphasizes the lines on my lips and I'm just not into that. Also, I didn't like that when I applied the lip paint on my lips, it dragged some of the product around.  What I do like is that the color pay off is fantastic without being drying on the lips. It feels moisturizing and that's what I really like in lip products.

Overall, I still do like the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints. They are worth a try for the $4 price tag!
