Brand Breakdown: elf Cosmetics Blushes

With my growing makeup collection, I thought it would be neat to focus on a particular brand for a week. I decided to kick off this new series with elf Cosmetics also known as Eyes Lips Face Cosmetics. I remember the first time I ever heard of elf. It was quite a while back- like I was just starting college and I was listening to Z100, a DJ named Carolina was talking about a new brand that was sweeping everyone off their feet. I am a big fan of this brand. Most of their products are absolutely amazing and are very affordable. I love that I can physically walk into their brick and mortar store if I wanted to! I've been a loyal customer for years now and I've accumulated a few products and I'd like to share them with you.

I'll start off with the oldest item in my elf collection which is a blush in Candid Coral. I don't remember at all where exactly I purchased it from but I usually but my elf products from Target, 7eleven or the actual store. This blush is stunning- buttery smooth, blends easily, color pay off is fantastic and lasts for more than 5 hours when used with a setting powder or spray. When it's on my skin, it's just the perfect amount of color. On the pan, it looks like a muted rose color and on my cheeks, it's a light coral with gold undertone. I love it! I use it year round but I use it a lot during the winter (I don't want to wear such a deep color because my cheeks will get color anyway due to the cold weather).

So far, I haven't had to replace it yet because you really don't need a lot of it. I'd definitely repurchase this again without a doubt. I actually think that this is my favorite blush from elf.
