I was at a Marshalls recently and I stumbled into this palette. I always see it on Amazon and I've seen a few YouTube reviews about it. It sounded promising so I decided 'why not?' (the $3.99 price tag also helped convince me). Now, I love my nudes and neutrals and as much as I like to pretend that I'm adventures when it comes to makeup, truth be told- I am not. So when I saw this, I was pretty excited.
As soon as I got home, I started playing around with it. Unfortunately, I am not a fan for the following reasons:
- It doesn't have a mirror
- The formulation is super buttery that when I press and glide a finger on a shade
- The colors aren't as pigmented
- It's really chunky on my lids
- It doesn't blend easily
- It doesn't last a long time even when I prime AND use a setting spray
I can think of 3 drugstore palettes that work so well for me: the Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection, Sonia Kashuk's matte palette, NYX's Butt Naked palette and L'Oreal's La Nude Palettes. I am really glad that I only spent $3.99 on this palette.
