Queens Kids Turn Up at Flushing Night Out

Tonight's first installment of Flushing Night Out, a monthly summer food & flea market series held at Flushing Town Hall, was a huge success! Unfortunately, I didn't attend the first one but I heard a lot of great things about it so I made sure not to miss out this time. I am really glad that I stopped by to check it out because there were a lot of awesome local food vendors in attendance!

Festivities kicked off at 6 P.M. and arriving guests were greeted by the Greater Flushing Chamber staff. Just a few steps over was Odin's Musubi & BBQ booth whose crew, were selling kick ass Hawaiian BBQ skewers! I also spotted Hank's Juicy Beef (That's what she said?) and I really wanted to get something from them but I had already spent my cash on Seoul Pancake's scallion pancake. Unfortunately, I couldn't try a lot of the dishes.

Vendors that were there tonight:

  • T-Swirl Crepes
  • Tacos de Mexico
  • Dosa Hutt
  • C.Bao
  • Sam's Fried Ice Cream (Check them out at the LIC Flea!)
  • New Asian Food
  • Golden Eggies Mini Cakes
  • Teaus
  • Snowdays
  • Green Earth Clothing
  • Peach and Lilly Cosmetics
  • W&T Seafood
  • Panda Cafe
  • J.Leather Goods
  • Oh! Nougat
  • NY Makgeolli (rice wine)
  • Phil & Sons Frozen Pizza

On the brighter side, there will be another Flushing Night Out next month (August 21) featuring different vendors (from the ones tonight). I will definitely bring cash with me!
