Get Ready for Queens Beer Week 2015!

The 2nd Annual Queens Beer Week will kick off on Friday, May 8th. The 9 day event will celebrate the great bars and breweries in the borough. This year's QBW is a step up from 2014 with more than 70 participating venues offering tours, tap takeovers, food and beer pairings, pub crawls and homebrewing demos. The crew at Queens Beer Week sent us a teaser list of events happening that week.

5/8 (Friday) LIC Beer Project Launch at Crescent and Vine- NYC's newest brewery will officially kick off their launch at Crescent and Vine.

5/9 (Saturday) Ridgewood Beer Bar Scavenger Hunt- Bridge and Tunnel will host a scavenger hunt featuring neighborhood gems like Queens Tavern, Julia's, The Monk, Bleachers and Onderdock & Sons.

5/10 (Sunday) Queens Beer Week Official Kick-Off Party- Join Queens brewers at LIC Landing and enjoy complimentary samples of their beers including QBW IPA, made just for the event (in collaboration with Singlecut Beersmiths and Barrier Brewing Co.). Reserve your free ticket here!

5/16 (Saturday) LIC Brewers Open House- Join Queens breweries Rockaway Brewing Co., Big Alice ,Transmitter Brewing and LIC Beer Project for samples and tours all day.

5/17 (Sunday) Finback Anniversary- Join the Finback crew as they celebrate their 1 year anniversary. Basil Lee and Kevin Strafford have brewed a special beer just for the occasion: Barrel-Aged Plum and Proper, a smokey-sour dark ale brewed with fresh plums.
